A lover of music. A connector of people. A relationship savant. You are the person that will connect with and retain clients in the music space to the Linktree platform. 

Music is dough, Linktree is cheese. You are the sauce that brings and keeps them together.


Linktree, a rapidly growing tech company that started in Australia and has gone global. In 2020 alone we grew from 3 million to 10 million users and average over 30,000 new signups every day. We have a team of 2 in LA at the moment but are growing that team quickly and offer great flexibility in working from home and in the office sometimes.

As part of our growth team, this role will be responsible for the retention and growth of users in the music vertical. There are lots of people here that you will collaborate with from other countries, verticals and channels but you will be the owner of this vertical.

You will learn the ways of Linktree from Jeremy who knows the product and our clients inside and out and as one of the world's nicest people, a great person to learn from. Then there are teams in social media, community, country managers, and creative that you will work with to engage users, convert them into paid users and advocates of the platform. You also work under our Head of Growth, Jess who is an award-winning mentor and Managing Director of Girls in Tech Australia. 


We are looking for:

  • An established understanding and network in the music industry, particularly in the US
  • Experience in account management or sales roles, approx 3 - 5 years but not a strict requirement
  • The ability to sell without being salesy. Or slimey. Retention is equally or more important than growth here.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, zoomal and loomal (those are made up terms but you will know what they mean)
  • Someone to become an advocate for our customers in this space and bring their feedback to our product teams
  • Analytical skills so you can find insights and turn them into strategic initiatives 

The key measurement for success in this role will be increasing retention rates in this vertical as well as growth in new users/customers/partners.
