Mid or Senior Designer

Job description

Working with the marketing team and directly with the Creative Director, you will design on-brand content to promote Linktree to our global audiences. This could be static or animated pieces for social channels, graphic elements for events, a quick illustration for a blog piece - a bit of everything! 

 

It will suit designers from fast-paced advertising agency or internal studios with experience working to brand guidelines with quick turnarounds.

 

You should be confident in your conceptual ability (maybe you are a hands on Art Director) and be able to come up with ideas, not just execute others or roll out work. 

 

Requirements

We are looking for a social-media-loving, curious and enthusiastic designer with at least 2 years experience in design roles (we are open to mid and senior candidates, potentially a need for one of each) that also have at least a basic level of motion/animation skills to complement their strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills. 

 

You should be able to animate existing assets as well as have the ability to create your own from scratch, so good illustration skills would be good too.

 

If you can shoot still and moving pictures, add animations and edit video and sound, bonus points for you.

 

Here is a summary of what we are looking for:

 

Must Haves:

  • Proficient motion design skills (after effects + premiere) and relevant portfolio examples 
  • Static graphic/digital design skills and folio examples
  • Understanding and experience of working to brand guidelines while still being creative
  • Social best practice - understand the social landscape and can create appropriate files for various platforms. Understand what type of creative performs best on each platform
  • Illustration skills

Bonus points for:

  • Jnr - Mid Photography skills
  • Jnr - Mid Videography skills
  • Ability to edit audio and experience in sound design

  • Must be excited by social and marketing lead outputs

  • A good problem solver
  • Ideally excited by working for a rapidly growing SAAS tool/start-up company

Our offices are in Collingwood but we are currently working remotely during COVID19 and offer great flexibility.
