You’ll love variety in your days and have previous experience in tech/ SaaS start-ups so you understand our customers and how your day can go from planned to out the window in minutes.

Us: Linktree, an Australian tech startup that has gone global. In 2020 we went from 3 to 10 million accounts and 15 to 60 staff. In 2021, our growth is projected to be higher. We currently average around 30,000 new account signups per day.

Linktree is in an exciting phase of growth with a lot of product features and exciting things planned. Our marketing team is small but growing, so we’ve got a lot to do and a lot of processes to put in place while getting campaigns out at the same time.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to take some of the load off our Marketing Manager Maddy who is spinning a lot of plates at the moment. For those looking for a mentor that is generous with their time, extremely hardworking and hands on while at the same time, super ready for after work drinks and laughs, Maddy is your dream.

You will help Maddy create some structure when it comes to our campaign management, reporting, and workflows. You’ll work closely with the other areas of our marketing team and the wider business. One day you might take a brief from the Product team on an upcoming feature release, the next day you’ll brainstorm content ideas with our social team and that afternoon, you’ll have a WIP with our PR agency.

Other tasks will include but not be limited to: management of our blog and its content, adhoc PR, running email campaigns, diving deep into analytics and providing insights to the wider team.

Specifically we’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 2-3 years prior marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS/ tech company
  • Has experience marketing consumer tech brands across a wide range of digital channels and formats (video, email, content, social, mobile etc)
  • Has experience with marketing automation platforms like Braze or Hubspot
  • Can draft compelling copy for blogs, social, events, announcement and, emails
  • Can provide the design team with airtight briefs for marketing collateral
  • Can set up campaign tracking & reporting
  • Has experience inputting content into a CMS (Contentful & Wordpress is a bonus)
  • Has great people skills when managing internal stakeholders and external partners to keep cross-functional projects on track
  • Can be a brand champion for Linktree, ensuring all our owned assets are consistent and up to date
  • Can use Google Analytics and/or Heap to dig into data and provide insights and turn them into compelling stories or meaningful analysis

Where is this role-based:

Our Head Office and most of our Marketing team is currently based in Melbourne so we’d like this person to be in Melbourne for easy collaboration.
