Job description


Linktree is the market leading linking platform. In 2020 alone we grew from 3 to 10 million users (now over 12 million!). The platform enables brands, artists, publishers, agencies, creators and small businesses to curate an online ecosystem, instantly guiding their audience to the destinations that they care about.


With an already global customer base, we are looking for someone to lead our entry into and growth across EMEA. With our team currently spread across Australia, USA, Brazil and Indonesia this role will be based in the UK and work fully remotely until we are ready (and Covid allows us) to open an office.

This role would suit someone with experience at early-stage startups that has developed the strategies and operational structure to bring products or companies to new markets, and then scale.

Requirements

In this role you would:

  • Create and implement localized strategies for the Linktree to enter and thrive in each region
  • Build a hiring roadmap and work closely with Linktree HQ to hire top talent for the region under your management
  • Represent Linktree as a market leader in EMEA and lead partnerships with platforms and brands to expand Linktree’s reach in EMEA
  • Have P&L ownership for the region’s performance
  • Collaborate with social, content and growth marketing teams to ensure Linktree’s channels for EMEA operate effectively, including socials, content and broader growth tactics
  • Collaborate with other regional and country managers to learn from each other's successes and failures 
  • Generate and present reports on subscription numbers, marketing performance, support and external market factors to the leadership team


We are looking for:

  • Experience in Head of Country or Region roles within EMEA at tech startups
  • Previous team and people management experience, including building/scaling a team
  • Someone that can demonstrate their strategic approach to marketing and growth in previous roles

The Linktree story:

The Linktree journey begins in 2016 when co-founders Alex, Anthony and Nick were running a digital agency and using Instagram to make announcements about the artists they managed.
