Country Development Manager (Indonesia)

Job description

You: A social media expert with a growth mindset that has experience scaling SaaS businesses into the Indonesian market, to be our first hire in Indonesia.

This role is about growing and expanding our already thriving community in Indonesia and setting up the tools on the ground to make it happen. You would work people like with our Head of Growth Jess, Head of Strategy and Operations Michael and Country Manager for Brazil Gab but then with our wider team all over the world. 

You will gather local insights and turn them into actionable plans for us to segment our customer, develop strategic partnerships, prioritise feature releases and increase our presence in the Indonesian and SEA markets. Crossing into social content strategy and make sure we are engaging our customers and potential customers with relevant content on the right platforms and develop influencer marketing strategies to fuel our growth.

In 2020 we grew from 3 to 10 million accounts and our team from 15 to 60, but we have even more growth projected for 2021.


What we are looking for:

It's essential to have experience in Indonesia within SaaS startup companies, ideally in roles that cover growth and with a strong understanding of the social media landscape. We are looking for at least 5 years in similar start-up environments and someone with broader experience in roles would be a better fit than someone with a history of being siloed within a larger team. This is a varied role so suits those that like to do different roles day to day. 

This will be our first hire in Indonesia and although we have more hires planned there, you would be comfortable working alone for the short to mid term.
